Floyd Felix “Lester” Vaughn, 50 of Arjay, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at his home.

Born in Pineville on April 28, 1962, he was the son of the late Henry and Hester Lawson Vaughn. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had been an iron worker for Pips Iron Works.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lola Carpenter.

He is survived by his fiancé, Jennifer Mason of Arjay; sister, Ruby Smith of Arjay; half-brothers, Ernest Gray of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Jimmy Gray of Corbin; step-children, Emily Cook and Joseph “Little Joe” Cook; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Ben Ingram and the Rev. Gene Taylor presiding at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville. Inurnment will be Monday at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro.
