Roxie Hester Capps Woodby, age 77 of Harrogate, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012.

She was a faithful member of Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church in Speedwell, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mamie and Tom Capps; son, Lester Woodby; brothers, George Capps and Willie Capps; and sisters, Mildey Pierce, Opal Miracle, Ellen Tolver and Alice Heck.

She is survived by her husband, Ira Woodby of Harrogate,Tenn.; sons, Edward and Wendy Woodby of Middlesboro and Terry Woodby of Harrogate, Tenn.; daughter: Sharon and Rev. Michael Coppersmith of Cynthiana; grandsons, Wesley Woodby of Sweetwater, Tenn., Charles Woodby of Middlesboro, Scott Woodby of Sweetwater, Tenn., Samuel and Chasity Redmon of Jamestown , Marion and Sierra of Cynthiana; granddaughters, Samantha and Nathan Grimm of New Port Richey, Fla., Jyll and Paul Hansen of Somerset, Becky and Wayne Mayes of Middlesboro, Megan Woodby of Mooresburg, Tenn., and Trinity Coppersmith of Cynthiana; and a host of great-grandchildren.

The family received friends Monday, Aug. 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate.

Funeral service was Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Coffey Funeral Home chapel in Harrogate, with the Rev. Tommy Cutcher presiding.

Burial was in the Robertson Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tyler Warwick, Junior Redmon, Jordan Bullins, Wayne Mayes, Samuel Redmon, Randy Hurst.

Coffey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
