Georgia C. Clair, 98 of Pineville, Ky., passed away Wednesday, November 28, at her home. She was born October 1, 1914 in Red Bird, Ky., the daughter of the late Jake and Martha Hoskins Sizemore. She was a longtime member of the Middlesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodroe Clair; 2 brothers, Robert and Chester Sizemore; and 1 sister, Mahalia Sizemore.
She is survived by the following members of her family: 1 daughter, Lema Clair; grandchildren, Gary Holbrook, Alecia Holbrook and Kenneth Holbrook; great grandchildren, Zachariah Holbrook, Geremiah Holbrook, Allison Holbrook, Ashley Holbrook and Nicholas Holbrook; brother, John H. Sizemore; sisters, Lula Napier and Ellen Childers; special friend and caregiver, Mabel Webb; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, at the Creech Funeral Home with Dale Turner presiding. Music will be provided by Ken Wilson. Interment will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, at the Creech Funeral Home.
