Randal Edward Taylor, 71, of Cumberland Gap, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 at his home. He was born in Pineville on September 20, 1941, a son of the late Mount, Jr. and Pauline Hampton Taylor. He had worked for GM in Michigan at the Truck and Bus Assembly in the Shipping and Receiving Department. He had been a good husband and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ray Taylor.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Linda Taylor; son, Randal E. Taylor, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael, Randy and Brandi; brother, Michael Taylor; sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Phillip Neff; niece and nephew, Pamela Lynch and Albert Alvarado and several great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Boyd Bingham, III. Music will be by Kelly Woodward. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery at Tan Yard Hill with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
